Info: Kids offer touching, profound and often funny insights about what being a family means to them. Among those featured are: children with two fathers; a girl whose mother and father adopted her in China; three brothers who live with their mother and grandmother; a pair of mothers who are getting married to make one big family; and families with adopted kids and children born through in-vitro fertilization.

Pride Coalition of Rockland County Meeting

Place: VCS, Inc. 77 Main Street, New City, NY 10956
Time: 3:30pm-5:00pm

Info: The Pride Coalition of Rockland has now been formed!!! Our hope is that meeting together monthly will strengthen Rockland's LGBTQ programs, provide us with collective energy and support and create a think tank for new initiatives.
The Coalition is open and welcoming to all who would like a place at this table.  If your organization would like to participate, please join us for this meeting. 

Founding Organizations
CANDLE works with youth to prevent substance abuse and violence and runs TRUST, a weekly LGBTQ group.
GLSEN works with educators, policy makers, community leaders and students to address anti-LGBT behavior and bias in school.
VCS Gay Pride Rockland produces the annual Gay Pride Rockland Sunday each June as well as LGBT programming and training throughout the year.
